Performance Based Navigation (PBN)

Privileges and conditions

This difference training course has been developed to ensure that the pilot will obtain an adequate amount of knowledge, to be able to pass a proficiency check or skill test including PBN on a specific class of aircraft.

The applicant shall have a valid medical and pilot license. The applicant shall also have a difference training and be proficient in an EFIS (Garmin G3X/GTN650) or equivalent environment.

Flight Training

At least 1,5 hours of flight instruction instrument time. Approximately 1,7 hours block time.

Price from 4 590 SEK
Paid by installments during the course. (Approximately 2 700 SEK per block hour with a flight instructor in the Piper PA28 with EFIS)

Theory Training

The PBN theoretical knowledge instruction is based on self-study and 3 hours ground lesson ahead of the flight training.
